The Fabulous Beatle Boys featured on Channel 7′s Morning Show on Thursday 19th April, helping to both celebrate the Beatles’ 50th anniversary and help promote the new show! They performed a special mash up two Beatles hits ‘I should’ve Known Better’ and ‘She Loves You’.

What a day! Marty & The Beatle Boys – Rooftop Concert Sydney 2012

The official video of the rooftop concert performed on top of the MCA in Sydney, March 14th 2012 has just been released. The video shows Beatle Boys performing ‘Get Back’ to a busy lunch-time crowd in Sydney’s CBD overlooking the harbour, Circular Quay and it’s landmarks.

Marty Rhone and the Beatle Boys re-created the famous rooftop concert immortalised by the Beatles in 1969. They performed live on the balcony of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, Australia as part of the launch for the new tour.

Recreating the famous rooftop concert!

Relive one of the great moments in music history & be part of it as the Fabulous Beatle Boys recreate the famous Apple Rooftop Concert above Sydney, 1PM on Wednesday 14^th March in front of the MCA building, west side Circular Quay.

Hear many of the songs and see a faithful recreation to celebrate 50 years of the Beatles.

Hits come together in a musical fantasy

For singer Marty Rhone, creating Cliff Joins The Beatles was a chance to indulge in some musical fantasy.

The Australian music legend was determined to create something original with his music concert show so he let his imagination run wild and eventually wondered what it would have been like if Cliff Richard joined The Beatles.

Imagining that The Beatles returned to Australia for a second tour with the Living Doll singer (played by Marty), this show takes place in both the famed Abbey Road Studios and during a mythical Australian concert.

“Cliff had left the Shadows in 1969 and around the same time The Beatles were rehearsing for a live concert,” explains Marty of some of the real life synergies which surrounded his idea. “During the rehearsals John and Paul were not talking and there were a lot of problems. Because Cliff also recorded at Abbey Road, I created this fantasy that Paul invited Cliff to join them for a jam session and it transformed into a full tour.”

Both Cliff and The Beatles present a collection of their hits in the show and Marty says it was important for each to retain their individuality, rather than a whole new kind of music coming from the collaboration.

“I never intended for Cliff to become one of The Beatles, which is why I found four guys who embody The Beatles music and the personality of each member.”
